Recently I did some webdesign for WearFair.
Some of the highlights:
- An uncluttered frontpage and a clear navigation. Really important, I think.
- Graphical headers. With fake transparency. Yey!
- A search function. Ok, I only convinced them they should implement one, and then added it to the design.
- Random featured products. Who want’s to see the same over and over again?
- ‘Scroll’ effect on featured products - they are displayed bigger when your mouse hovers over them, and more info is displayed.
- And of course: tested in IE 6, IE 7, Firefox, Opera, Safari, and Konqueror.
Right now the blue theme is up, but they intend to change the theme every now and then. Check it out, if you want. Also, see the before and after shot I attached.
